The leader of the state Senate is raising the possibility of a tax cut.
It comes after Republican Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald announced he’s running for the fifth congressional district seat. He thinks lawmakers could use additional tax revenue the state is projected to collect.
Governor Evers thinks most of that money should be kept in reserves, in case of an economic downturn.
