The cancellation of Sunday’s Fox Cities Marathon didn’t prevent all runners from hitting the streets. Carrie Miller of Appleton took an alternative, unofficial route. A number of those hoping to qualify for the Boston Marathon last weekend are scrambling to enter next month’s Lakefront Marathon in Milwaukee.
