There’s a recommendation to replace one fire station in Oshkosh, and build a new one in the future.
Matrix Consulting believes the projected growth in the southwest area of the city will eventually lead to the need for an additional station. The site could be at the corner of 20th Avenue and Clairville Road.
The firm’s Robert Finn also believes the station at Wittman Regional Airport should be replaced with a building that’s in a better location.
