So much for the whole ‘caring for your neighbor and/or drummer‘ directive.
During a musical interlude at a church service, a sign from above stopped the music.
During the song, the cross positioned just to the right of the drummer ever so slowly tips over, timbers onto him and collapses the drum shield like a house of cards.
The lead singer is somehow oblivious to all this happening directly behind him and, honestly, doesn’t really seem to care as there is zero impetus to help the poor drummer boy out of his predicament. I understand the Lord helps those who help themselves but really dude?! Lend the guy a helping hand.
