A push to get a co-op grocery store in Oshkosh is closing in on an important milestone.
Organizer Elizabeth Redman says they need to have 1,200 members before they can open. There are now more than 1,000 people on board.
A committee is trying to find a location. Now that they have more than 1,000 members, Redman says they can make a recommendation on a site. She says they hope to find one in the central city, between the downtown and UW-Oshkosh campus.
