A suicide prevention hotline will now receive $110,000 in state funding.
Majority Republicans on the Legislature’s budget committee are formally releasing the money. It was included in the state budget that was passed in July.
GOP lawmakers wanted to see the recommendations from a task force on suicide before providing the funding.
