The Oshkosh Area United Way is making it easier for nonprofit groups and agencies to apply for funding this year.
CEO Mary Ann Dilling admits the previous process was “painful” and “very long.” She says they’re hoping the changes will generate more interest in their grants.
She says they focus on three main areas — mental health, early childhood development, and eliminating barriers people may face while they’re trying to work.
The deadline to apply for 2020 funding from the Oshkosh Area United Way is October 18th.
