A man is going to spend the rest of his life in prison for killing a Milwaukee police officer.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jordan Fricke shot Officer Matthew Rittner in February, while Rittner was using a battering ram to serve a search warrant. Police were at Fricke’s apartment to look for illegal guns and drugs.
A jury found him guilty of first-degree intentional homicide.
Milwaukee County Judge Jeffrey Wagner decided that Fricke will never be eligible for parole.
