Two housing plans in the City of Green Bay are moving forward.
Miller Land Investments is planning to build a four story, 100 unit apartment building along the Fox River in the historic Astor Park Neighborhood.
The redevelopment authority also approved a proposal by Gorman and Company to build a grocery store and a mix of affordable and market rate housing in the downtown area.
Development Director Kevin Vonck believes this will help fill a dire need.
He says numbers show that Brown County is between 1,500 and 2,000 units short when it comes to housing supply.
