UW System officials are making stops around Wisconsin talking about the value of the state’s universities.
The UW is calling it the “All In Tour” and encouraging the state to rally around the university system.
Board of Regents President Andrew Petersen says the Oshkosh campus is where tomorrow’s workforce is developing.
To offset economic pressures caused by tuition freezes and declining enrollment, UW System President Ray Cross wants businesses to work with them. He says partnerships and internships can help keep students in the area after they graduate.
UWO has one of the highest retention percentages for out-of-state students, with about 30 percent finding a job in Wisconsin.
