The Missouri man investigators are targeting in the disappearance of two Seymour-area brothers could face more charges on Wednesday.
There are multiple media reports in Kansas City that prosecutors plan to file new counts against Garland “Joey” Nelson. There’s a press conference scheduled for Wednesday morning.
Nick and Justin Diemel went missing in July, when they visited Garland’s farm, northeast of Kansas City. The brothers owned Diemel’s Livestock, and they were doing business with Nelson.
Nelson is already charged with stealing their rental truck, and leaving it at a park-and-ride lot. Investigators searched Nelson’s farm, and they say they found human remains.
