The number of rat complaints in Green Bay is at a three year low.
Alderman Chris Wery is seeing that in his district.
He says his office has gotten 64 rat complaints so far this year.
That number was at 98 last year and 166 in 2017.
He hopes it’s a true reduction and not just people not calling in rat sightings.
He credits the decrease to a collaborative effort between the city, Brown County and homeowners.
He says because of the ports the city will never be free of rats.
But Wery feels it’s important to keep an eye out for them so the city can stay on top of the rodent problem.
