The top three Democratic candidates in Wisconsin remain the same in the latest poll by the Marquette Law School.
But while Vice President Joe Biden leads at 31 percent, Elizabeth Warren overtook Bernie Sanders for the second spot. Warren was at 24 percent, and Sanders 17 percent.
Poll Director Charles Franklin says Warren was the top second-choice. He thinks it’s important for Biden that he finished No. 2 on that list, because it shows he’s not an all-or-nothing candidate to Democrats.
No other Democrats got into double-digits on the first-choice list.
The poll also shows Biden, Sanders, and Warren lead President Trump in head-to-head matchups. Biden was up by six points, Sanders was ahead by two points, and Warren by one point.
