Neenah police are investigating something suspicious that happened near two schools yesterday afternoon.
They say a man got out of a truck by the corner of Washington Avenue and Elm Street and started yelling at two kids. The man is accused of whistling loudly and yelling “come here.”
A running coach took the kids to a safe place.
Police describe the man as in his late 30s to early 40s, with short brown hair and possibly some facial hair. A woman was driving the truck. The truck is older, and tan, with a truck cap.
