There’s a big milestone on the Highway 10-441 expansion project today while crews wind down their work.
DOT spokesman Mark Kantola says they’re opening the final ramp at the Midway Road exit. The off-ramp runs from Highway 10-441 East to Midway Road. He says that was the last long-term closure of a ramp for the project.
Kantola says there will be some temporary closures along the highway this week, so workers can put up large signs over the road.
The DOT plans to finish the project sometime this month.
Workers began building a new bridge over Little Lake Butte des Morts in the summer of 2014. They started closing ramps along the highway the following year.
