A state agency is hoping to bring jobs to people, using a new truck.
Republican Rep. Mike Rohkaste of Neenah pushed for the Department of Workforce Development to create a Mobile Career Lab.
He says they’ll be able to bring it to rural areas that might not have a job center nearby. He says it could also be used in areas with layoffs, or a large number of openings.
Rohrkaste worked with Republican Sen. Dan Feyen of Fond du Lac to pass a law last year requiring the state to get the mobile lab.
