The head of the Kimberly School District is getting a state honor.
The Wisconsin Association of School District Administrators is picking Superintendent Bob Mayfield as the 2020 Superintendent of the Year. He says the award doesn’t just belong to him. He says students, staff, and everyone involved with the district played a role.
Mayfield has been with the district for 27 years, and the superintendent for 11.
Mayfield says each state winner will meet in San Diego, and out of those 50, the top superintendent of in the nation will be announced.
