Governor Evers wants to raise the minimum wage of state workers to $15.
His administration released its plan this afternoon.
Starting in June of next year, all permanent state workers would be paid at least $15 an hour. It also calls for a two-percent raise for all workers in each of the next two years, and higher pay for prison guards.
Majority Republicans in the Legislature already signed off on the raises and prison guard pay, but not the $15 minimum wage.
