Home sales were up slightly last month, compared to October of last year.
The number of closings in the state rose by 0.7 percent. The median price climbed by more than seven percent to almost $196,000.
Economist David Clark for the Wisconsin Realtors Association says they’re trailing last year’s overall numbers by a little bit, and they expect to fall a little short of last year’s sales total.
Sales in the northeast region increased by three percent. The median price was up 3-1/2 percent to nearly $168,000.
