Human remains that were in a trailer in western Nebraska could belong to two missing brothers from the Seymour area.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department in Nebraska says a rancher bought a stock trailer recently in Missouri, and discovered the remains last Friday. Justin and Nick Diemel went missing in July, and prosecutors in Missouri are charging Garland “Joey” Nelson with their murders.
Deputies say the rancher was spreading out the dirt at his ranch, near North Platte, and there were human remains and personal items in the tub.
The Diemel brothers owned Diemel’s Livestock. They disappeared while on a business trip to Nelson’s ranch, northeast of Kansas City.
