Appleton police say a 16-year-old boy was pointing a fake gun at people at the downtown transit center.
Officers got there within four minutes of the first call to 911, just after 4 p.m. Monday. They say the boy tried to run away, but officers caught him.
Police are working with the county’s juvenile detention center and considering possible criminal charges.
