Jurors found a De Pere woman guilty of abusing and neglecting her adopted children.
Fifty-five-year-old Sharon Windey was on trial last week in Brown County. Judge John Zakowski read the jury’s verdicts this afternoon.
Windey was charged, along with her husband Donald and son Steven. The two men will also have separate trials.
Prosecutors say the children were punched, choked, thrown against a wall, and forced to kneel or sit for hours.
