The woman kidnapped and shot by an ex-boyfriend yesterday is recovering.
That’s what a person close to Babette Caraballo is telling our partners at Action 2 News. Caraballo’s injuries apparently aren’t life-threatening anymore, but she’s facing a long road to a full recovery.
Kewaunee County Sheriff’s deputies say they shot and killed Luis Cardona, after he shot Caraballo. Green Bay police say Cardona abducted her at gunpoint from Hansen’s Frozen Foods early yesterday morning.
