Firefighters in Florida – maybe more than most emergency responders – have seen some weird stuff on the job.
Add another one to the list.
Residents of a Port St. Lucie neighborhood were witness to a seemingly driver-less car just going in circles in their cul-de-sac. As the ‘ghost car’ continued it circular journey for about an hour, it took out a mailbox, garbage cans and some decorative bricks before police and fire arrived. When responders finally got the door open… a black lab jumped to safety.
Apparently the driver/dog owner was turning around, had gotten out, and the dog knocked it into reverse.
Said one resident, “They should give that thing a license, it drives better than most people I’ve seen.“.
Eat your heart out ‘Toonces‘.
