The cost to make a Thanksgiving dinner is going to be about the same as last year.
The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation says the grocery bill for the 15 most common items for a meal for 10 people comes to $61.57. That’s about $1.40 more than last year.
Spokeswoman Sarah Hetke says food prices are remaining stable, and they expected that to be the case through the holiday season.
A 16-pound turkey costs less than $22. Ham and cranberries are cheaper than last year, but the price for sweet potatoes went up.
