The State Division of Criminal Investigation releases the name of the police resource officer stabbed by a student at Oshkosh West High School Tuesday. Mike Wissink (whiss-ink) has been stationed to West High since 2017–and has served in the police department for 21 years. He was reportedly involved in an altercation with an armed student in his office Tuesday morning, when the 16-year old boy stabbed him. Wissink shot the boy. Both were taken to the hospital–where their conditions have not been released.
