A salmon fishing crew who works with Mowi Canada West fish farm, shared a video of a giant Pacific octopus and an eagle entangled in a life-or death battle.
The company’s Facebook post said that this was a “once in a lifetime” encounter ” and “the eagle that had bitten off more than it could chew when it tried to catch an octopus”
The crew delicately separated the two. The octopus swam away unharmed and the eagle recovered on a nearby branch before flying away.
