The head of the Neenah police department says the producer of a “docu-drama” about the Eagle Nation Cycles standoff has a new perspective.
Chief Aaron Olson says he spent 5-1/2 hours with David Starr, going over facts from the state justice department’s investigation. He says by the end, Starr apologized for inaccurate information he included in a YouTube video.
Olson plans to record a new video with Starr to go over the facts, and post it on YouTube.
Police shot hostage Michael Funk during the 2015 standoff, when Funk ran out of the building with a gun.
