The House is planning to vote on impeachment today.
Republican Congressman Mike Gallagher of Green Bay posted a video on Twitter, arguing against the charge that President Trump obstructed Congress. He believes that’s not a crime, and there’s no charge that the president obstructed justice or committed contempt of Congress. He thinks it’s a new, lower standard than in the cases against former Presidents Nixon and Clinton.
Gallagher didn’t talk about the other count Trump is facing. He’s accused of abusing his power by withholding military aid to Ukraine, while asking the country to investigate a political rival.
Impeachment supporters got together in Houdini Plaza in downtown Appleton last night. They were part of rallies that were organized around the country.
Alright Wisconsin, let’s talk impeachment. pic.twitter.com/ZiN7zXVb8X
