Governor Evers is officially notifying the federal government that the state will continue to support bringing refugees to Wisconsin.
President Trump is requiring states and local communities to agree in writing to accept them.
Evers says kindness, respect, empathy and compassion are Wisconsin values. He’s calling the Trump administration’s new process “overly cumbersome” and “inappropriate.”
