There are growing concerns over ice shoves along the shores of Green Bay next spring.
Water levels on the bay were at near-record levels heading into the winter freeze. That effectively lowers the levels of breakwalls.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Phil Kurimski says strong spring winds would send all that ice on-shore. He says the ice could damage homes and other property.
Ice shoves are formed when the surface ice sheet breaks up, and strong winds push the chunks on shore, in huge piles.
Water levels were also high on Lake Winnebago heading into the winter, so the spring ice shoves there could also be bad.
