The Appleton school board will have some decisions to make on a possible building referendum.
District Chief Financial Officer Greg Hartjes says a special committee came up with four options to help solve overcrowding issues at most elementary schools.
He says members will have to look at whether a referendum is needed, what would be included, and when it would be held. If the board wants to wait until after April, the next elections would be in August and November.
The options include building one or two schools on the northeast side. There would also be expansions at the middle schools, and renovation projects at the high schools.
The cost could range between $88 and $125 million.
