A group is hoping to find more volunteers to be an English tutor.
Literacy Green Bay helps about 800 people a year, and there’s a waiting list for one-on-one time.
Executive Director Robyn Hallet says tutors don’t need teaching experience or to speak another language. Hallet says they can help the overall community, because the English-language learners have a better chance to advance at work. She says that can help their entire family.
