Seventeen-year-old Grant Fuhrman is accused of stabbing school police Officer Michael Wissink just over a month ago. Prosecutors say Wissink shot Fuhrman and both survived.
Superintendent Vickie Cartwright understands the gunfire created panic in the school, with some students running out of the building and others hiding inside. Cartwright says they learned some lessons, and they’re looking at possible changes to the reunification process with parents.
