The DOT is getting a late start on an Oshkosh bridge project.
The Oshkosh Avenue bridge was supposed to be closed last Monday, but the timetable is being delayed for a month.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says city staff checked in with the DOT, because work was supposed to start early this week. He says the contractor won’t get going until mid-February, but crews are confident the work will be finished the initial deadline of mid-June.
Rohloff says the Oshkosh Avenue bridge will be open for boat traffic in April.
