The trailer has been released for Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy with the film set to premiere in March at the South by Southwest festival in Austin. The 86-minute film was produced by A&E as part of its Biography series.
In the film, Ozzy says, “I use the talent of making people feel somewhat entertained when I was goofing around — to take it onstage with my music, I suppose, is the same kind of a thing.”
The film will follow the release of his new album, Ordinary Man, due out February 21st. Check out the video below for the title track, featuring Elton John.
Ozzy will also be touring this summer, playing the American Family Insurance Amphitheater in Milwaukee on July 1 as part of Summerfest, with opening act Marilyn Manson.
The title track features Elton John on piano as well as singing a verse. But Ozzy’s wife and manager Sharon says it’s too emotional to listen to all the way through. “I’m just so happy for Ozzy that it’s been well-received,” says Sharon on her CBS show The Talk. “I can’t listen to it all the way because it makes me cry. I just can’t.”
