A Beaver Dam woman will spend two years in prison for helping the suspect during a murder investigation.
Dodge County prosecutors say 33-year-old Rebecca Wolc lied to police when they were looking for Nigel Schultz of Fond du Lac. They say Schultz was staying at Wolc’s apartment at the time.
The 21-year-old Schultz is serving a life prison sentence, without the possibility of parole, for the murder of Bradlee Gerke of Beaver Dam.
Prosecutors believe Schultz shot Gerke 16 times, because Gerke was planning to turn Schultz into police.
