The housing market was virtually the same last year compared to 2018.
Economist David Clark of the Wisconsin Realtors Association says sales were down 0.1 percent. There were just over 82,000 closings statewide and the exact number was down by about 120.
The statewide median price was nearly $193,000. Sales in the northeast region slipped by 1.6 percent. The median price was up 6.4 percent to $167,000.
