The number of passengers at Appleton International Airport were up 10 percent last year.
Spokesman Pat Tracey says that’s on top of a 24 percent jump in 2018, making them one of the fastest growing airports in the country.
A little more than 790,000 passengers flew in or out, in 2019. He says their airlines are responding to the demand by using bigger planes and adding flights.
Allegiant Air’s numbers were up by 14 percent last year. United’s rose 11 percent.
