Prosecutors say a drug habit is behind a string of storage unit burglaries across Brown County.
Thirty-five-year-old Mitchell Perez and 32-year-old Traci Schanandore made their first court appearance yesterday.
Perez is facing 13 charges related to burglary, theft and bail jumping.
Schanandore is facing seven burglary charges as party to a crime.
Court records say the two would sell, pawn or trade stolen items for drugs, mostly meth.
Brown County assistant district attorney Kari Hoffman says Perez was out on bond when he committee these latest crimes and used a U-Haul van stolen from Georgia.
