Smile Appleton! You’re on camera! You wanna be on national television? The Discovery Channel is launching a new show called Small Town Throw Down and an episode will feature Appleton.
Thursday (1/23) from 4:00 to 5:30, the show’s host, Mo Mandel, will be chatting with folks on camera outside Cleo’s in downtown Appleton. He’ll be hanging out INSIDE Cleo’s until 9pm, for more chit-chat with locals.
Then Friday (1/24), Mo will be in Houdini Plaza from 2:30 to 4pm attempting to escape one of Houdini’s straight jackets.
AND GET THIS… Sunday (1/26) from 11am to 1pm, Mo and the camera crew will be doing a Slip’n’Slide polar plunge in the Fox River by the Appleton Yacht Club. Come by and watch and cheer him on or bravely join him and take the plunge yourself.
