A researcher at UW Oshkosh is studying the effectiveness of sexual harassment training in the workplace.
Professor Shannon Rawski is using grant money from J.J. Keller to see if virtual reality training would be better than having workers watch videos. She says virtual reality technology can put workers in situations where they’re a bystander, and they have to decide what to do.
Rawski says right now, professionals in human resources are looking for advice. She says they’ll also do a nationwide survey to see how knowledgeable they are, and if there are gaps in any areas.
