Traffic lights could be going in close to a school in Kaukauna.
Public Works Director John Sundelius says they’re looking into whether the intersection of Elm and Island streets, by River View Middle School, meets the requirements. He says there are concerns about sight lines, because of an incline and the Veterans Memorial Bridge.
He says traffic at that spot has been an issue for years, and the school district wants to work with the city to make changes to improve safety.
