An Appleton man wrote a book about his teenage son’s fight against terminal cancer.
David Frerking lost Jacob about two years ago.
David self-published the book called “What Really Matters,” and it includes his journal entries, Facebook posts, and stories. He hopes it can help people going through the grieving process.
Book sales will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Ronald McDonald House.
Make-A-Wish partnered with Appleton police, and Jacob became a police officer.
The book is available on Amazon.
