A 21-year-old woman is going to jail for 10 months for helping a Fond du Lac man after a murder.
Dodge County prosecutors say Dakota Schlesner helped Nigel Schultz of Fond du Lac move a body and bury it on her parent’s land in rural Ashippun. She told deputies she was afraid Schultz would kill her, if she didn’t.
Schultz is serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole for the murder of Bradlee Gerke of Beaver Dam. They say Schlesner also didn’t tell police about the murder, until after her father discovered the grave.
She’ll also spend two years on probation.
