Some state lawmakers want to find ways to reverse the population drop in pollinators, like bees.
Former state treasurer Jack Voight of Appleton supports a proposal to create a task force. He owns Butterfly Gardens of Wisconsin, north of Appleton.
Voight thinks it would also help if the younger generation would get outside more often and learn about the environment.
There’s bipartisan support for the bill to set up the task force.
