A North Fond du Lac man will spend one year in jail for the deaths of a Neenah father and son.
A jury found 35-year-old Travis Wollersheim guilty of two counts of negligent homicide last year.
Twenty-six-year-old David Button, and his eight-year-old son Joseph, were killed in a crash on I-41 in Fond du Lac, in June of 2016. Prosecutors say Wollersheim rear-ended their car in a construction zone.
A judge also sentenced Wollersheim to three years on probation, and 120 hours of community service.
District Attorney Eric Toney says Wollersheim apologized to the family, and many forgave him and hugged him.
