Joe Satriani has released “Nineteen Eighty,” the first single from his upcoming album, “Shapeshifting.”
The album is set for an April 10th release. Satriani collaborated with a number of musicians for this record, including drummer Kenny Aronoff, bassist Chris Chaney, and keyboardist Eric Caudieux, along with additional contributions coming from Lisa Coleman from Prince and The Revolution and Christopher Guest of Spinal Tap fame.
Satriani will also tour Europe with 42 dates this April through June.
