“Little Steven” Van Zandt of the E Street Band (and The Sopranos, of course) was hosting a recent Q&A on Twitter, when a question came up about former Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora.
The individual asked, “are you a fan of Richie Sambora, [especially] as a vocalist?”
Miami Steve then not only talked about what a fan and friend he is with Sambora, but that Richie has been working on a solo album that we may get sometime this year.
Not only am I a fan, Richie is one of my best friends. We all know he is one of the great guitar players, but as you point out, he is also a fantastic singer. Since leaving Bon Jovi in 2013, Sambora has released two EPs and an album with girlfriend Orianthi under the name RSO. The last one, “Radio Free America,” was released in 2018.
