An economist believes the current state of the economy would deserve a “solid B” on a report card.
Elliot Eisenberg is speaking at the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce Economic Outlook Luncheon today. He says the job market is strong, and as long as that continues, the U.S. will avoid a recession.
Eisenberg believes businesses face a lot more uncertainly than in the past, because of global growth. He says some of the problems are beyond their control, and international in scope. He points to issues in Europe and the coronavirus.
The annual luncheon is at the Red Lion Hotel Paper Valley in downtown Appleton.
